Please join Downtown Evergreen as we celebrate our 33rd Annual Holiday Walk. Santa and Mrs. Claus are excited for this year's magical event, beginning with the traditional Holiday tree lighting at Evergreen Lake House with the jolly couple. After the tree lighting holiday revelers proceed back downtown for photos with Santa and live performances by local music & dance groups. The main street is turned into a walking mall with no vehicle traffic, complete with crackling fire pits, s'mores, festive shopping, holiday specials, seasonal goodies for the whole family and so much more. This much-loved event is the official kick-off to the Evergreen holiday season.
We are excited for the return of our ELK ON THE SHELF hunt this year. Please visit all the shops and restaurants in Downtown Evergreen to spot the elk. Here are the ELK ON THE SHELF rules:
- Take a photo (or selfie) with the Elk on the Shelf at participating locations & tag it on Instagram to be entered into a random drawing for gift baskets (from Downtown Evergreen Shops)
- Make sure to tag @downtownevergreen.co & #elkontheshelf2025 for your entry to count
- Pro Tip: The more businesses you take a photo in, the more entries you will have and increase your chances to win!
- Drawing on Monday Dec 8th - we will DM the winners!
The Annual Holiday Walk is an Evergreen Downtown Business Association event. Make sure to thank a local downtown business owner, and our other generous sponsors, for hosting this special event in our community.
