Evergreen Area Chamber of Commerce Professional Standards
As members of the Evergreen Area Chamber of Commerce, we commit to the following principles:
· Integrity
We conduct our business honestly and fairly and observe the highest standards of ethics in rendering services and/or offering products for sale.
· Respect
We treat others—clients, colleagues, and community members—with dignity and professionalism and refrain from publicly disparaging the business practices of fellow members.
· Responsibility
We strive to do what's right for our community and we refrain from engaging in any practices prohibited by law, and conform to all laws established by County, State and Federal governments, where applicable.
· Community Focus
We support the growth, well-being, and reputation of our local business community.
· Professionalism
We represent ourselves and our businesses in a reputable manner that reflects honorably on the business community and the Chamber.
· Participation We understand and support the mission and values of the Evergreen Chamber of Commerce and whenever possible, participate in the functions and activities of the Chamber.
Acceptance of, and adherence to this Code is a condition of participation in the Evergreen Chamber of Commerce or a supported project.
I/we also understand that the failure to adhere to the professional and personal standards of the Evergreen Area Chamber of Commerce, as outlined above, and defined in the Chamber Bylaws, can result in the termination of my/our membership at the discretion of the Chamber Board of Directors.
